[ licking over his lips, he shrugs. ]

I don't know. I'm not really good at keeping them.

[ He reaches out to run his thumb along John's jaw. ]

[ he feels the pad of that thumb but lets his gaze drift off a little. ]

I guess I'm just waiting to disappoint you.

You wouldn't. You know how I know that? Cause I know you, and I know the two of us together. We don't work that way.

[ rather than give an answer to that, he kisses jason. soft. sweet. a little passionate because it's him. but fleeting all the same. pressing his forehead to jason's, he sighs. quiet. ]

[ Jason lets his hand brush across John's chin, then lets his hand drop so he can lace it together with John's. ]

Yeah? Funny enough, I got you a little something too. Wanna do this Christmas thing?

[ otherwise what are they going to do with these gifts for each other? ]

[ He squeezes John's hand, then lets go so he can pat his ass. ]

Alright, up. I'll make some boozy hot chocolate and we can exchange gifts.
